Robert Downey Jr. Jack Black Ben Stiller Directed by Ben Stiller This film combines the comedic talents of some of Hollywood’s heavyweights, Jack Black, Ben Stiller, and the always compelling Robert Downey Jr. In an oft-used style, this is a film-within-a-film. We see the beginnings of an action war drama, starring the aforementioned- but now bogging down in production. Each character is an actor, with his own reason for enlisting in the war drama, set in southeast Asia. So they come together in the jungles somewhere near Vietnam, to make a "serious" war film. Unfortunately the production over-runs are costing big bucks for the studio back in Hollywood, and so it is that the moguls look to some way of making a great movie, but at a much cheaper rate.
